Social & Competitive Club Tennis Events
The Club offers a variety of social and competitive events throughout the season, for both singles and doubles players. Events are organised for Junior Members as well as Senior Members, in a number of different formats. If you wish to enter a competition, please complete an entry form and return it to the address shown below.

Thank you to all 12 mixed pairs who played in Draw for a Partner - we had great tennis, super weather and a delicious afternoon tea. Well played to all - 4 pairs made it to the semi finals and Louise & Kevin T narrowly beat Natasha & Kevin H in the final.

The Over 45's singles draw takes place during the summer window

​The draw is a "backwards & forwards" style event.

Participants can expect to play atleast 2 matches.

This trophy for Mixed Doubles was donated by one of our past presidents, Sid Till, and is designed for players over 45.

Congratulations to Louise Inder and Stephen Bridgeman who won in a close final with Carol Wray and Nick Bennett.

​Best of 3 sets. First 2 sets are sudden death at 5 games all (no tie breaks). 3rd set is a long set i.e. 2 clear games

Handicaps cancel down. E.g. Player A -30 Vs Player B -15. Player A starts -15, Player B Scratch

Interpretation. -30.5 means -30 one game alternating with -40. The biggest handicap of -40 must be taken on the odd games. -15.5 means -15 one game and -30 the next
